2nd Grade- Todd Parr project

For the first week of second grade art we learned about the elements of art and focused on color. We also read the book It's Ok To Be Different by Todd Parr for inspiration. We talked about being individuals and the style of Todd Parr's art.

Students first painted their own paper. They had so much fun mixing colors!
When the papers were all nice and dry it was time to cut. This definitely put second graders to practice their cutting and gluing skills.
